For Your Soul

As I was talking to my soul sister Cheryl today, she made me think of a question that we all should perhaps ask ourselves:

Is your focus on things that can't do anything for your soul?

My cell sister and I were discussing this very same thing last Saturday!
people waste entirely too much time on stuff of no consequence and things that have nothig what so ever to do with life or Christ.
Time is quickly passing away and we don't even notice...

Blessings!

Regina,
That's right. This world encourages people to focus on irrelevant things and futile endeavors. People are preoccupied with things and actions that will not do anything to make them the people that the creator wants them to be. How do you get more people to see this?
By the way, what's a "cell" sister?
Peace and blessings,
alicia

My church is a "cell" church. What this means is during the week people hold hoomgenous bible studies in their homes. We just recently implemented couples cells (for the married couples who wanted to go into these cells with their spouses) Typically 2 per month. your "cell" consist of 12 people (like Jesus & the 12 disciples) we have lessons from the pastor that we review. The "cells" just as in science eventually split into other cells. Once you have your 12, 1 who has completed the requirements of being a cell leader (trainings, etc) will take 2 and branch off into their own cell. Thus the cells keep multiplying!
The goal is to reach the unchurched, unsaved, and those who normally would not go to church.
it's about networking, mentorship, growing in the Lord and helping others to grow also. Winning souls, making disciples and sending them out to win more souls! My church got it's cell church training, instruction and start from Bethany http://www.bccn.com/
You may also want to do an internet searc for "cell churchs" for more information.

so anyway, I am a cell leader and I have my cell group every 1st & 3rd saturday of the month.

I hope this helps.
Blessings!

Regina,
Wow! Thanks for that thorough explanation. That's a marvelous idea...I will look more into it. Keep up the good work sister.
