Look what greeted me as I stepped outside my front door this morning.

I know! That's what a co-worker said and asked if I kept it or shushed it away. I just let it be. :-)

enjoyed your message about turtles. during this time of year where i live (in the woods of arkansas) they can be seen crossing the road frequently. i have observed that i see more raccoons, possums, etc as road kill than i see turtles. as slow as they move they manage to avoid traffic quite well. since i have lived out here i do not collect insects, frogs, turtles anymore i allow them to exist in their own environments. so many people out here take nature for granted. i walk every morning and evening enjoying how the animals do what they need to do and how the seasons can be identified by what starts to grow and when the season has ended.

i have comments on prince and birth of a nation which i will send to you soon. i will say that every time an artist transitions the media can't wait to air dirty laundry. we are so quick to judge that we miss the message from the contributions of others.

I haven't seen turtles out like that before. After reading about them, I see they're pretty special animals, as they carry their homes on their backs and represent protection, persistance, endurance, and strength.

Yes, I hate how people judge the lives of those who transition. Prince had so many great qualitifies and gifts. I understand he was very generous also. May he rest in peace.
