I witnessed this explosive event. It was inspiring, groundbreaking, and elevated hip hop even one step higher.

THANK YOU FOR THIS "SMILE" YOU PUT ON MY FACE. I HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE FOR 2 HOURS WITH TECH TO GET MY PC WORKING AGAIN AND THIS WAS THE FIRST THING THAT I OPENED. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU. I KNOW YOU ENJOYED THE CONVENTION, MISS GOING PLACES AND EXPERIANCING NEW THINGS WITH YOU. WISH YOU WERE HERE OR I WERE THERE. BUT AS LONG AS YOU ENCLUDE ME IN THE VISUAL WITH YOUR BLOG I DON'T FEEL TOO LEFT OUT. KISS MY GRAND-DAUGHTER FOR ME WITH A BIG HUG FOR YOU TOO.

Hey MaDear!

This was a phenomenal event. Gigi just happened to get free tickets, otherwise, we couldn't have afforded to go! I was so inspired and uplifted. This was very shortly after the mess that happened in Charlotte so it was a good place to experience unity, peace, and fun!.

Love ya!!
(Of course, we'll have to talk about the sad state of affairs in the country. We'll do that soon.)

Hey Auntie,
This was a marvelous and exciting event. Gigi just happened to get free tickets to it -- otherwise we couldn't have gone. It was just after the police shooting in Charlotte, so they were promoting peace, unity, and fun. It was a blast!!! They have it here every year.

Love,
Lisa
