Juarês De Mira Sings 16 Tons

Here is mi amigo Juarês De Mira de Brazil with a low baritone voice singing 16 Toneladas or Sixteen Tons, a song composed by Noriel Vilela, based on the original song Sixteen Tons by Merle Travis, recorded by Tennessee Ernie Ford and The Platters. He made my day with this one.

Oh WOW I wish Montro could have heard the Platter's version of 16 Tons. I haven't heard that song in years have your Mom and Dad heard it yet? I bet they have the same reaction.

I had never heard this song before. The Brazilian version is the first I had heard, then when I looked up the song, I found the Platters singing it. Great harmony. And that deep voice (on both versions) is very lovely. I don't think Dad has heard it yet. Mom never goes on the internet. :-)
