I was quite taken with this quote and inspired by it, but when my father called and left a message for me saying, "The first line from this quote you sent me is heavy, as a matter of fact, all of it is heavy," then I knew I had to post it. Here it is:

Alicia, that quote was very inspiring! We can be so hesitant sometimes because of fear. We hate failure and can't take the thought of someone seeing us as one, so we stay safe and avod risks. One day we wake up and realize we've just been wasting time thinking about what won't work and how to protect ourselves from looking silly. Hmmm... Now you got me thinking. Maybe I've been somewhat doing this myself. Might be time to open up and really go after the cause within me. Thanks. :)

I'm sure Ms. Markova would be overjoyed to hear what her quote has done for you, me, and so many others. I'm almost sure that she is a cancer survivor and her condition inspired her to look at her life and REALLY live it.
Yes, she has moved me to do some things also.
